From the Ground Up
This cover story was featured in the April/May 2013 edition of Verve. In addition to writing the article, which highlighted the aeronautical engineering accomplishments of a fellow student, I also contributed to the story's layout and design.

The Photo Issue
As Editor-in-Chief, I created and edited the first issue of Verve devoted purely to photojournalism. This project challenged the staff to embrace the visual medium of photography and to share their thoughts and ideas with our readers in an alternative manner.

Editor's Note
This June 2013 issue of Verve features my final Editor's note to the magazine staff and readers. As Editor-in-Chief, I wrote a statement published in each issue of Verve that introduced the magazine's monthly theme. By writing these Editor's notes and organizing a general theme for the magazine each month, I had the ability to grow both as a leader and as a journalist.
